The 4-H club program is the foundation of Ocean County 4-H! Through regular meetings and activities, a club provides youth with a welcoming environment in which to learn, grow, and make lifelong friends.
Ocean County 4-H clubs meet at least nine times a year, and are lead by two dedicated, knowledgeable, and trained adult leaders.
A 4-H club meeting usually includes fun activities, educational opportunities, and a business meeting, during which the club's members direct the future activities of the club. This emphasis on developing youth in leadership roles is an integral part of 4-H and probably why 4-H alumni include so many former U.S. Presidents and community leaders!
Most of the current Ocean County 4-H clubs explore a particular project area, such as animals, science or arts. If you do not see your preferred project area listed, please contact the Ocean County 4-H Office. We are eager to work with you to find the right club, or to start a brand new one!
