Agriculture & Resource Management

The Agricultural and Resource Management staff offer programs and information to homeowners and farmers. Agricultural programs utilize science-based knowledge and research to provide assistance in the areas of crops, nursery and landscape, farmland preservation and home horticulture. Our staff works closely with our residents, community groups, and government agencies to guarantee and promote Ocean County's environment and natural resources.

The Resource Management faculty and staff develop, implement, and evaluate action programs to encourage and assist local communities, groups and individuals in protecting and wisely developing resources for their well being. Those resources are primarily the natural, physical resources of land, water, air, vegetation, and wildlife. They offer programs, research and technical assistance.
