Please find the 2025 meeting schedule below.  Regular meetings will be held on the 3rd Wednesday of the month and in person at the Rutgers Cooperative Extension offices (second floor) located at 1623 Whitesville Road, Toms River at 7:00pm. 

Ocean County Board of Agriculture/Ocean County Farm Bureau 2024 Meeting Schedule:

Mission

To aid the farmers of the county in the development of the most profitable and permanent types of agriculture and in the solution of technical problems relating thereto.

To promote among young people a genuine interest in farming and rural life and to encourage their participation in the development of the highest type of domestic and community life.

To assume leadership in planning programs that will promote a healthy lifestyle which features exercise, improved financial security and the knowledge of where our food comes from.

To cooperate with the New Jersey State Board of Agriculture, New Jersey Farm Bureau, Rutgers Cooperative Extension, New Jersey Department of Agriculture, the Ocean County Agriculture Development Board, and any other cooperating agencies.

To sponsor and conduct the Ocean County Fair and conduct tours and dinners, prepare appropriate literature, films and otherwise support appropriate public outreach efforts.

The OCBA is organized exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, and/or scientific purposes, including, for such purposes, the making of distributions to organizations that qualify as exempt organizations under section 501(c)(5) of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.
